About me

I am a PhD in sociology with a specialization in South Asia, Women and Gender Studies, and qualitative research methods. I have work experience in teaching undergraduate sociology, research with human subjects, as well as editing manuscripts.

Interests: My research interests revolve around Indian return migration from the US. I look at how women across two cohorts experience return migration in distinct ways. Other research interest include South Asia, religion, and the Indian dispora in the US and Canada.
