About me
Hi, I am Himani Shishodia, an M.Tech Biomedical Engineering graduate from IIT Ropar (CGPA 8.27). I have strong interests in biology, chemistry, and AI/ML, especially Large Language Models (LLMs). I worked on evaluating LLMs like LLaMA on datasets such as PubMedQA and MedMCQA, exploring prompting and temperature tuning. I also applied LoRA-based fine-tuning to improve model performance and aim to build expertise in LLMs for real-world applications.
Interests: My research interests lie at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Biomedical Sciences, with a strong focus on Large Language Models (LLMs). I am particularly interested in model evaluation, fine-tuning, and improving the reasoning capabilities of LLMs across domains. I aim to explore techniques such as prompt engineering, parameter-efficient fine-tuning (e.g., LoRA), and model optimization to enhance performance on complex tasks. Additionally, I am interested in developing robust, accurate, and explainable AI systems that can be applied not only in healthcare but also in broader real-world applications. My long-term goal is to build expertise in LLMs and contribute to creating reliable, scalable, and job-ready AI solutions across multiple domains.
