About me
I am a PhD holder in Life Sciences with specialization in computational drug discovery and infectious diseases. I have experience in molecular modeling, bioinformatics analysis, and scientific manuscript preparation, with multiple peer-reviewed publications. I provide mentorship in experimental design, data interpretation, and scientific writing, helping researchers improve the clarity and reproducibility of their work. I am interested in guiding projects related to computational biology.
Interests: My research interests lie in computational drug discovery and bioinformatics, with a focus on understanding infectious disease mechanisms and identifying novel therapeutic targets. I am particularly interested in structure based drug design, protein ligand interactions, and the application of in silico approaches to study drug resistance mechanisms, especially in pathogens such as Mycobacterium tuberculosis. I also have a strong interest in integrating bioinformatics tools and molecular simulation techniques, including molecular docking and molecular dynamics, to explore protein stability, ligand binding affinity, and conformational dynamics. Additionally, I am interested in leveraging publicly available biological databases and sequence analysis methods to investigate gene and protein function. Beyond computational approaches, I am keen on contributing to research design, data interpretation, and scientific communication, ensuring methodological rigor and reproducibility in biomedical research. I am also interested in interdisciplinary applications that combine computational biology with emerging areas such as AI assisted drug discovery and translational research.
