About me
Having specialized in molecular and cellular biology I did Ph.D on the topic “Functional Characterization of humanSMARCAL1 from JNU, New Delhi, India. Post PhD I joined as a pdf @ IIT Mandi, H.P. for two years. I further worked as a research Scientist in another interesting project. Following, I was awarded DST funded Woman scientist project for three years. I can mentor students for brainstorming and conceiving research ideas, writing research proposals, journal papers and review articles.
Interests: 1.My research interest is in Deciphering the functional aspect of DNA and proteins using biochemical, cellular and molecular biology techniques. 2. I also have experience in synthesis and biomedical application of borate-based bioglass and bioceramics and its applications in bone tissue regeneration in mammalian cell lines. 3. Bio-resist for tissue engineering: Experience in guided cell growth of mammalian cell lines on lithographically generated bio-resist for biomedical application. 4. Designing and application of Drug delivery system for breast cancer and Mn-based inorganic complex for its application as enhanced contrast agent for MRI.
