About me
I am a Microbial Biotechnology researcher with a PhD in Microbial Biotechnology, with multidisciplinary expertise in industrial biotechnology, microbial metabolic engineering, recombinant protein production, microbiome research, antimicrobial resistance (AMR), and One Health. My research background includes host metabolic engineering and microbial systems for recombinant protein production, providing expertise in microbial physiology, molecular biology, experimental design, and biotechnology.
Interests: I am a Microbial Biotechnology researcher with a PhD in Microbial Biotechnology, specializing in microbial biotechnology, microbiome research, antimicrobial resistance (AMR), and One Health. My research combines molecular biology, metagenomics, microbiome profiling, and bioinformatics to investigate microbial communities and antimicrobial resistance genes across human, animal, and environmental interfaces. My expertise includes microbial metabolic engineering, recombinant protein production, molecular diagnostics, targeted metagenomics, 16S rRNA sequencing, PCR/RT-qPCR, digital PCR, and statistical analysis of microbiome and AMR datasets. I am particularly interested in understanding AMR dynamics, pathogen surveillance, and environmental reservoirs of infectious agents. My broader research goal is to develop integrated One Health surveillance approaches that combine genomic, microbiological, and environmental data to address emerging infectious diseases and antimicrobial resistance. I am also interested in translating research findings into applications in public health, veterinary health, environmental monitoring, and antimicrobial stewardship.
