About me

Materials Chemist and Research Scientist with 10+ years of experience in advanced functional materials, including porous materials (MOFs/COFs/POPs), carbon nanomaterials, catalysis, CO₂ utilization, and energy storage systems. International postdoctoral research experience at IBS/UNIST, South Korea, with expertise in material synthesis, advanced characterization, electrocatalysis, photocatalysis, and sustainable energy technologies. 20+ peer-reviewed publications.

Interests: Advanced Functional Materials: Design and development of porous materials (MOFs, COFs, POPs), carbon nanomaterials, and hybrid functional materials for sustainable energy and environmental applications. Energy Materials and Storage: Development of advanced materials for supercapacitors, rechargeable batteries, electrocatalysis, photocatalysis, and photoelectrocatalysis for clean energy conversion and storage. Carbon Nanomaterials: Synthesis and characterization of graphitic carbon, amorphous carbon, carbon nitrides (g-C₃N₄), graphene-based materials, and porous carbon frameworks for catalytic and energy-related applications. Catalysis and CO₂ Utilization: Heterogeneous catalysis, CO₂ capture, activation, and conversion into value-added products using advanced porous and hybrid catalytic systems. Materials Characterization and Computational Studies: Structure–property relationships using advanced characterization techniques (XRD, BET, SEM/TEM, Raman, spectroscopy) and computational modelling (DFT/Gaussian, Material Studio).
