Masters with specialization in fish and fisheries science. *worked in a DBT funded research project as a SRF on Fish Cell Line. *PhD in Zoology working on foraging behavior and molecular taxonomy of Indian burrowing frogs. *worked in a NMHS project on Population dynamics and Biogeography of Himalayan Pika. *worked on ecology and molecular phylogeny of crabs and mushrooms. *worked on genomics of higher carnivores of Trans Himalayan (Ladakh) region

Interests: genomics, molecular phylogenetics, ecology and behaviour of fish, amphibians, crabs, and higher carnivores
