About me
Results-driven Organic Chemist and Photofunctional Materials Researcher with extensive expertise in multi-step organic synthesis, catalysis, and the design of advanced luminescent systems. Proven track record in developing high-sensitivity fluorogenic probes for bioimaging, ion sensing, and environmental monitoring. Demonstrated excellence in combining experimental bench chemistry with computational photophysical insights to engineer next-generation molecular diagnostics.
Interests: his research portfolio focuses on the design, synthesis, and photophysical characterization of novel heterocycles—principally \(\beta \)-carbolines, quinoxalines, and Schiff bases—for applications in chemosensing and bio-imaging [1, 3, 14]. The work advances synthetic methodologies, including copper-catalyzed C-C bond formation, to create functional materials, such as Zn\({}^{2+}\)-selective probes, TNT detectors, and cancer cell imaging agents, leveraging mechanisms like ESIPT and AIE [2, 7, 11].
