About me

I completed my Ph.D. (Research Fellow-CSIR) in Biological Sciences (specialisation Biochemistry, Biotechnology and Food and Nutrition) from CSIR-CFTRI, Mysore, under AcSIR in 2023. I have an MSc. in Nutrition Biology from CSIR-CFTRI, Mysore (under AcSIR). I also have an MSc in Medical Biotechnology from University of Aberdeen, Scotland. Previously I worked as Research Associate in IVD. Student interaction and involvement in learning is my approach to make them understand concept clearly.

Interests: My research interest is in the area of probiotics, gut health and gut-brain axis and hence in a broader context my research aligns with microbiological biochemical and nutritional research. I am interested in developing research concepts in this area and also in designing research work, experiments to address the gaps in respective fields.
