I earned a doctorate from RGCB, Trivandrum for my work on finding a novel antibiotic against Mycobacterium tuberculosis. I have also worked with Streptomyces biology and infection studies using THP-1 cell line derived macrophages. I have also worked on antimicrobial resistance at IISER Tirupati in my postdoctoral studies
