About me

I am a Ph.D. from Yogi Vemana University (2019), serving is a PA at S V University, Center of Excellence for Materials Sciences in Tirupati. I specialize in hydrothermal and green synthesis of metal/metal oxide nanoparticles like ZnO, CuO, Ag, and TiO2 drawn from plant extracts for photocatalysis, antimicrobials and pervaporation membranes, I've 12+ publications, hands-on with SEM/TEM/XRD/FTIR, Driven to create morphology-tuned materials for energy and eco solutions.

Interests: My research interests center on developing novel doped metal and metal oxide nanoparticles for advanced photocatalysis applications. Specifically, I focus on engineering these nanomaterials to tackle critical global challenges, including the removal of persistent water pollutants (such as organic dyes and "forever chemicals" like PFAS), sustainable hydrogen (H2) production via water splitting, and durable antimicrobial coatings for healthcare and environmental surfaces. Through expertise in hydrothermal and green synthesis methods using plant extracts and agricultural waste as eco-friendly precursors—I design heterostructures (e.g., Fe/Zn/Cu-doped TiO2, ZnO, CuO, and Ag nanoparticles) with tailored morphologies, defect-rich surfaces, and optimized bandgaps. This enhances visible-light absorption, charge separation, and reactive oxygen species (ROS) generation, achieving superior pollutant mineralization, efficient H2 evolution, and broad-spectrum microbial inactivation. My ultimate goal is scalable, bio-based solutions at the nexus of nanotechnology, materials science, and environmental engineering.
