About me
Researcher with over 7 years of experience in translational research, immunology, and molecular biology. Demonstrated proficiency in omics techniques, data analysis, in vitro and in vivo models and assay development to support disease-oriented immunology and neurology research. Experience in scientific and grant writing, along with mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students for practicals and projects.
Interests: My research interests focus on understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying neurovascular diseases, especially in ischemic stroke, with an emphasis on neuroinflammation, vascular biology, protein homocysteinylation, post-translational modifications, immunometabolism, biomarker discovery and translational neuroscience. My expertise includes the development and application of experimental stroke and hyperhomocysteinemia models, biomarker discovery using LC-MS/MS-based metabolomics and a wide range of molecular and cellular techniques, including ELISA, Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, immunocytochemistry, PBMC isolation and cell culture. I am also experienced in data analysis using GraphPad Prism, SPSS, XCMS, and MetaboAnalyst, enabling the integration of experimental and computational approaches to investigate disease mechanisms and identify potential therapeutic targets
