About me
Perusing PhD in Cellular and Molecular Biology, I bring a strong foundation in wet-lab, in silico, and systems biology research, focused on aging and senescence. My scientific training has honed my analytical thinking and ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights. , I excel at gathering and validating data through collaboration and systematic planning. In secondary research, I have experience synthesizing scientific literature, and competitive landscapes to inform strategy.
Interests: My interest in this field began with an early fascination for telomere biology and its role in driving cellular aging. The connection between telomere attrition, genomic instability, and senescence provided a compelling molecular framework for understanding age-related decline. Motivated by this, I consciously sought to deepen my expertise in aging research. Before starting my PhD, I proactively approached my current laboratory, which was already engaged in senescence studies, to ensure focused training in this area. Joining a research group with established work in cellular senescence allowed me to explore telomere dynamics within broader molecular and translational contexts. This deliberate decision reflects both my sustained interest and strategic commitment to advancing in the field of aging biology.
