About me
My PhD research focuses on transition-metal-catalyzed C–C and C–N bond formation for synthesizing bioactive benzosuberene analogues from Cedrus deodara–derived himachalenes. I developed triazole-assisted Heck and Sonogashira strategies, tandem carbopalladation/C–H functionalization, and heterocycle synthesis. I also worked on aminocarbonylation using Pd@PS catalysts and gained experience in scale-up and heterogeneous catalysis.
Interests: My research interests lie in transition-metal catalysis, C–C and C–N bond-forming reactions, and the design of bioactive small molecules. I am particularly interested in developing sustainable and step-economical synthetic methodologies for complex scaffolds, including benzosuberenes and nitrogen-containing heterocycles, with applications in medicinal and chemical biology.
