About me

Ph.D. scholar in Biological Sciences with expertise in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Bioinformatics, and research methodology. Experienced in scientific writing, literature review, project design, data analysis, manuscript preparation, and academic mentoring. I help students develop research proposals, dissertations, presentations, and scientific communication skills while building strong conceptual understanding and critical thinking abilities.

Interests: My research interests lie at the intersection of molecular parasitology, mitochondrial biology, cellular metabolism, and infectious diseases. My current doctoral research focuses on understanding mitochondrial respiratory chain dynamics in Leishmania donovani and exploring how alterations in phospholipid metabolism affect mitochondrial function and parasite survival. I am particularly interested in investigating cellular bioenergetics, host–pathogen interactions, drug mechanisms, and therapeutic target discovery. In addition to experimental biology, I have a growing interest in bioinformatics, structural biology, network analysis, and computational approaches for drug discovery. My broader research goal is to integrate laboratory-based and computational methodologies to understand disease mechanisms and identify novel therapeutic strategies for infectious and age-related diseases.
