About me
Associate Professor of Microbiology and Immunology with a PhD and extensive experience in research and academic mentoring. I guide students in conducting high-quality literature reviews by developing critical appraisal skills, structuring evidence synthesis, identifying research gaps, and adhering to publication ethics, enabling them to produce impactful reviews that strengthen research design and scholarly writing in microbiology and biomedical sciences.
Interests: * Systematic and narrative reviews in clinical and medical microbiology * Evidence synthesis on emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases * Critical analysis of antimicrobial resistance trends and mechanisms * Literature-based evaluation of HIV, viral infections, and host–pathogen interactions * Reviews on hospital-acquired infections and infection control strategies * Microbiome-focused literature to identify diagnostic and therapeutic research gaps
