About me

I express my keen interest to join your organization as a Research Mentor, leveraging my robust background in having a PhD degree in Biological sciences and having 2 years of experience as an Assistant Professor of Zoology. Following which, I have currently been working as a senior editor (scientific and medical communications) for 5 years. My expertise aligns seamlessly with the responsibilities outlined, particularly in coming up with hypotheses, designing experiments and provide guidance.

Interests: My research focused on the fields of coastal biogeochemistry and benthic ecology, with a primary emphasis on mangrove and lagoon ecosystems. Their research extensively explores modern benthic foraminiferal taxonomy and dynamics, using these organisms as key bio-proxies to assess environmental changes, seasonal nutrient influxes, and sedimentary organic carbon levels. Specifically, their work targets critical ecological landscapes such as Asia's largest tropical coastal lagoon (Chilika Lagoon) and the world’s largest deltaic mangrove forest (the Sundarbans). Additionally, their academic interests cover meiofaunal ecology and multi-proxy geochemical approaches to evaluate sea-level fluctuations and coastal pollutant loading.
