About me

I am a medicinal chemist with expertise in metal-free organic synthesis, heterocyclic chemistry, and MMP-9 inhibitor design. Skilled in multi-step synthesis, reaction optimization, molecular docking, and analytical techniques like NMR and MS. I offer students practical lab training, concept-based learning, and research mentorship, helping them build strong problem-solving skills and connect theory with real-world drug discovery.

Interests: My research interests focus on medicinal chemistry and the development of novel small molecules targeting enzymes. I am particularly interested in metal-free and sustainable synthetic methodologies, heterocyclic chemistry, and reaction development. I also work on structure-based drug design using molecular docking to understand protein–ligand interactions. Additionally, I aim to integrate green chemistry with drug discovery for efficient and scalable synthesis.
