About me

My research has focused on applying genomic and bioinformatic approaches to characterize microbial community structure and functional profiles using both amplicon and shotgun metagenomic datasets. I have investigated how genomic traits influence plant-soil interactions and soil carbon dynamics. My experience spans the full workflow—from greenhouse planting and field sampling to DNA extractions, sequencing library preparation, data processing and analysis, and manuscript preparation.

Interests: I am broadly interested in applying genomics and data-driven approaches to understand biological systems and translate complex datasets into actionable insights in environmental and applied contexts.
