About me

Researcher with expertise in microbiology and molecular biology. Experienced in execution of research projects, including research, planning, troubleshooting, data analysis and scientific communication. Trained undergraduate and postgraduate students on microbiology and molecular biology techniques for six years. Mentored eight B.Tech and M.Tech students in developing and implementing their research projects and preparing their dissertations.

Interests: My research interests include antimicrobial resistance (AMR), I specialize in efflux-mediated drug resistance in bacteria and I am interested in working on alternative therapeutic options to mitigate efflux-mediated AMR. I am also interested in the physiological functions of efflux pumps in microbes. I have also worked on the areas of microbial quorum sensing pathways and their molecular interactions and I am interested to explore further.
