About me
I have a strong background in biochemistry, molecular biology and computational biology, with hands-on experience in bioinformatics and in-silico research approaches. I am actively guiding MSc students in their final dissertations, supporting them through the complete research process, including framing research questions, methodology, performing data analysis, and interpreting results. This experience has strengthened my ability to mentor students at different stages of their research journey.
Interests: My research interests lie at the intersection of molecular biology and computational biology, with a focus on in-silico approaches for understanding disease mechanisms and identifying potential therapeutic targets. I am particularly interested in molecular docking, protein–protein interaction network analysis, and pathway enrichment studies to explore the biological significance of target proteins. I also aim to integrate computational findings with experimental data to gain comprehensive insights into biological systems. Additionally, I am interested in applying these approaches to study natural compounds and their potential pharmacological effects.
