About me
PhD-trained scientist with expertise in molecular and cellular biology, cancer biology, and translational research, supported by doctoral and postdoctoral experience in tumour microenvironment and cancer progression studies. Skilled in developing and executing cell-based functional assays, mammalian cell culture workflows, and mechanistic in vitro studies for translational oncology and drug discovery research.
Interests: My research focuses on translating molecular insights of the tumour microenvironment into actionable therapeutic strategies for cancer treatment. With a PhD and postdoctoral background in tumour biology and cancer progression, I am interested in developing and applying robust cell-based and mechanistic in vitro assays to dissect tumour-stroma interactions, evaluate drug response, and identify novel therapeutic vulnerabilities. I have expertise in molecular cloning, qPCR, western blotting, flow cytometry, immunofluorescence, stable cell line generation, and co-culture systems, and I thrive on optimizing workflows to deliver reproducible, data-driven outcomes. Moving forward, I aim to leverage this skill set in a biotechnology or pharmaceutical R&D setting to support preclinical drug discovery, target validation, and the development of translational oncology therapeutics through collaborative, innovation-focused research.
