About me
AI Research Engineer, Biomedical Engineer, and entrepreneur with expertise in AI, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Healthcare AI, and Digital Forensics. Developed custom deep learning architectures for deepfake detection and AI-driven rehabilitation systems during my Ph.D. Founder of a funded VR gaming startup and former Embedded Systems Engineer in medical devices. Skilled in PyTorch, Python, OpenCV, Unity, and end-to-end AI solution development.
Interests: My research interests lie at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision, Biomedical Engineering, and Healthcare Technologies, with a focus on developing intelligent, accessible, and cost-effective solutions for real-world challenges. My doctoral research centered on designing AI-driven home-based rehabilitation systems using RGB cameras, machine learning, and deep learning techniques for human action recognition, automated repetition counting, and rehabilitation exercise quality assessment. I am particularly interested in deep learning, computer vision, human activity recognition, pose estimation, medical image and video analysis, digital health, and AI-assisted clinical decision support systems. My work explores the development of robust and efficient neural network architectures capable of real-time analysis and deployment in resource-constrained environments. Beyond healthcare, my research extends to AI-powered digital forensics, deepfake detection, multimodal learning, transformer architectures, explainable AI, and trustworthy artificial intelligence for cybersecurity applications. I am also interested in developing novel deep learning architectures, multimodal fusion techniques, and foundation models that improve the reliability, interpretability, and scalability of intelligent systems. My long-term research vision is to bridge the gap between cutting-edge AI research and practical industrial applications by developing innovative, reliable, and socially impactful intelligent systems for healthcare, security, immersive technologies, and human-centered computing.
