About me
I am PhD chemist specializing in nanochemistry, inorganic and bioinorganic chemistry, focusing on Schiff base transition metal complexes with antimicrobial applications. Author of 13 peer-reviewed papers. Skilled in synthesis, characterization (NMR, FT-IR, UV–Vis, HPLC), molecular docking and DFT studies, and research design. Experienced in data analysis and scientific writing. Mentor students in research planning and publication-ready work.
Interests: My research interests lie in nanochemistry, inorganic and bioinorganic chemistry, with a primary focus on the design, synthesis, and functional evaluation of coordination compounds, particularly Schiff base–derived transition metal complexes. I am especially interested in exploring their biological potential, including antimicrobial applications, through a combination of experimental and analytical approaches. My area of focus extends to guiding research in rational ligand design, understanding structure–activity relationships, and applying appropriate synthetic and characterization techniques to develop scientifically robust outcomes. I am particularly motivated by helping researchers connect fundamental chemical concepts with practical applications, enabling them to design meaningful and impactful research projects. In addition, I have a keen interest in incorporating computational chemistry and molecular modeling as supportive tools for interpreting experimental data and understanding molecular interactions. I aim to mentor students in using these integrated approaches to strengthen their research quality and analytical depth. From a mentorship perspective, I focus on helping students clearly define their research problems, choose suitable methodologies, and develop a structured approach to experimentation and data analysis. I emphasize critical thinking, reproducibility, and clarity in scientific communication. I am also committed to guiding students in conducting thorough literature reviews and developing publication-ready research work. Overall, my goal is to support researchers in building strong, independent research capabilities while ensuring their work meets high scientific and academic standards.
