About me
My name is Ajay Mohan, and I am a recent PhD graduate from IIT Gandhinagar. I did my Bachelor’s in Mechanical engineering and Master’s in Nanoscience and Technology. My doctoral thesis is on, An Analysis of Heterogeneous Catalytic Activity of Transition Metal Carbon Composites & Thiospinels Towards Electrochemical Energy Generation. It focussed on the activity of transition metal - carbon composites, their application in electrocatalysis of water, with a goal of sustainable energy generation.
Interests: • Assisting in the Synthesis of Metal / Metal Oxide - Carbon Composite Catalyst • Material Characterization of Synthesized Catalysts using XRD, ICP MS, SEM, TEM, BET and XPS • Mentoring Postgraduate Students in the Characterization Tools and Data Analysis • Electrochemical Analysis of Catalyst towards Applications such as Metal Air Battery, Water Splitting Process, Carbon dioxide electroreduction • Data Analysis and Compilation, Report and Manuscript Preparation • Scaling Up, Prototype Development and Testing
