About me

Senior modeler with more than 5 years experience in systems modeling for drug discovery and development teams, specializing in QSP, PBPK, PK/PD models and Virtual Populations. Skilled in MATLAB, SimBiology, QSP Designer, QSP Notebook, R, Python and C, with a track record of delivering innovative modelling solutions in Cancer, Autoimmune diseases, Ocular, Covid, Liver and Neuro disorders.

Interests: As a Senior Scientist, I work as a lead modeler, ensuring robust analyses, and act as a key technical contact for clients. This role emphasizes leadership in execution, scientific quality, and effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities • Lead or participate in teams developing mechanistic PBPK, PK/PD and QSP models using differential equations and other relevant approaches across various therapeutic areas. • Translate biological understanding into mathematical frameworks to describe mechanisms of action, disease pathways, and drug behavior. • Communicate modeling strategies, outcomes, and impact clearly to clients and collaborators with diverse backgrounds, primarily through well-prepared client-facing presentations and technical documentation. • Mentor junior scientists and contribute to team growth and knowledge-sharing. • Engage in internal tool/method development and contribute to enhancing Certara’s modeling capabilities. • Support internal quality control by reviewing and providing feedback on modeling work. • Assist in drafting statements of work and participate in business development efforts as needed. • Write technical reports and contribute to peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations. • Collaborate with team members (e.g. biologists, clinicians, and project leads) to define modeling strategies aligned with client objectives.
