About me
PhD in Botany with expertise in plant biochemistry, secondary metabolite enhancement, nanofertilizers, and sustainable agriculture. Currently serving as Assistant Professor. Former Project Scientist at ICMR-NIMR. Research focuses on the impact of nano-materials, heavy metals, and abiotic stresses on crop physiology, cannabinoid biosynthesis in hemp, and nutrient utilization efficiency.
Interests: Plant Biochemistry & Secondary Metabolite Biosynthesis (especially cannabinoids in hemp) Nanofertilizers and Hydroxyapatite (HAP)-based nanomaterials for sustainable nutrient delivery Abiotic stress responses in crops (herbicide stress, heavy metal stress, copper stimulation) Phytoremediation and heavy metal uptake in plants Opium alkaloids: chemistry, synthesis, pharmacology, and biosynthesis Plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) and their synergistic effects with nanomaterials Cannabis/Hemp physiology and metabolite variation under stress
