Research Collaboration Proposal (Bioinformatics)

Created On: Apr 21, 2026

Collaboration Overview

I am a PhD scholar in Bioinformatics with over three years of experience in bioinformatics and more than two years in genomics, working primarily in a computational (dry lab) setting. My expertise includes transcriptomics, RNA-seq analysis, de novo transcriptome assembly, functional annotation, host–pathogen interaction analysis, antimicrobial resistance (AMR), and pangenome studies. I have worked on protein–protein interaction networks, molecular docking, and computational protein analysis, along with developing a Python-based bioinformatics tool for protein characterization and visualization. I am proficient in Python, have working knowledge of R, and am comfortable using Linux-based pipelines and tools for large-scale biological data analysis. I am particularly interested in integrating AI and machine learning approaches with genomics and systems biology to analyze complex datasets and uncover meaningful biological patterns. I am currently strengthening my skills in ML and data-driven modeling, especially for high-throughput sequencing data. I am open to collaboration on research projects, joint publications, and grant proposals, and I would be glad to contribute through bioinformatics analysis, computational modeling, and pipeline development. I am also happy to assist with ongoing research work and provide support wherever needed, and I look forward to contributing to impactful, interdisciplinary research.
